By accessing, browsing, or using Datelight in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all the provisions of these Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Datelight, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service. Your continued use of Datelight following the posting of revised Terms of Service means that you accept and agree to the changes.

You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement. If you are not of legal age or do not agree with any provision herein, you are not permitted to use Datelight.

2. Description of Service

Datelight is an online platform designed to provide users with information, insights, and tools related to dating, relationships, and personal connections. The service includes but is not limited to educational content, compatibility assessments, communication guides, date planning suggestions, and relationship advice resources.

Datelight operates on a subscription-based model and makes available various features and content to subscribers. The specific features and content available may vary depending on your subscription level and any promotional offerings in effect at the time of your subscription.

Datelight reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time, with or without notice, at our sole discretion. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts or all of the service without liability.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of Datelight, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information as requested during the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 User Responsibilities

You agree to immediately notify Datelight of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Datelight shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to notify us promptly of unauthorized access. You agree not to access the service through automated means or by any method other than Datelight's publicly supported interfaces.

3.3 Account Eligibility

You represent that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful. You agree not to create multiple accounts or engage in fraudulent activity. Datelight reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in prohibited conduct.

3.4 Account Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon termination, your right to access the service immediately ceases. Datelight may also terminate your account, with or without cause, at any time and in our sole discretion.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Subscription Pricing

Datelight offers subscription access to its service at a monthly rate of nine dollars and ninety-nine cents ($9.99 USD) per month. Additional pricing tiers and promotional rates may be available at our discretion. All prices are subject to change upon thirty (30) days' notice to existing subscribers. Price changes will take effect at your next billing cycle.

4.2 Billing and Payment

By providing a credit card or other payment method, you authorize Datelight to charge you the subscription fee and any applicable taxes to your payment method. You represent that you are the authorized user of the payment method provided and that such payment method is valid and belongs to you or to someone for whom you are authorized to make purchases.

Billing occurs automatically on a monthly basis on the same day each month that your subscription commenced, unless a different billing date is specified. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current and accurate. If a payment fails, Datelight will attempt to charge your payment method again. If payment cannot be collected, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account.

4.3 Recurring Billing

Your subscription will automatically renew each billing cycle unless you cancel prior to the renewal date. You acknowledge that your subscription contains recurring billing features and that you authorize Datelight to charge your payment method each month for the subscription fee, plus any applicable taxes and fees.

4.4 Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time without penalty by logging into your account and following the cancellation instructions, or by contacting our support team at support@datelight.qfhq.io. Cancellation requests must be received before your next billing date to prevent that month's charge.

Upon cancellation, your access to premium features will continue until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for the current billing period, and Datelight does not provide prorated refunds for partial months of service.

Datelight may also terminate your subscription at any time for violation of these Terms of Service or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination by Datelight, you will receive written notice of the termination and the reason for such action if applicable.

4.5 Refund Policy

Datelight offers a seven (7) day money-back guarantee from the date of your initial subscription purchase. If you are not satisfied with the service, you may request a refund within seven days of your first charge by contacting our support team at support@datelight.qfhq.io with your request. Such requests must include your account information and the reason for the refund request.

Refunds are provided in the sole discretion of Datelight. Refund requests made after the seven (7) day period will generally not be honored except in cases of billing errors or unauthorized charges. All refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the subscription and may take five to ten (5-10) business days to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.

Except as expressly provided in this section, all subscription fees are non-refundable. Cancellation of your subscription does not entitle you to a refund for any previous charges.

4.6 Taxes

You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, value-added tax, or other taxes assessed on your subscription. Datelight will calculate and collect taxes as required by law based on your billing address and the laws of your jurisdiction.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 Ownership of Content

All content provided through Datelight, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, video clips, digital downloads, data compilations, software, and the selection and arrangement thereof, is the exclusive property of Datelight or its content providers and is protected by international copyright laws.

5.2 Limited License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms of Service, Datelight grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the service and its content solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include any right to sell, resell, or commercially exploit the content or service.

5.3 Prohibited Use

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of Datelight or its content without the express written permission of Datelight. You may not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on Datelight or any of its content.

You further agree not to access Datelight or its content through any automated means, including but not limited to web scrapers, robots, bots, spiders, or data mining tools, except for standard search engine crawlers that comply with our robots.txt file.

5.4 Trademarks

Datelight, the Datelight logo, and all other Datelight trademarks, service marks, and logos are the property of Datelight. You are not granted any right to use these marks without prior written consent from Datelight.

5.5 User-Generated Content

If you submit, post, or display content through Datelight, including but not limited to text, comments, photos, or other materials, you grant Datelight a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content in connection with the service. You represent that you own or have necessary rights to the content you submit.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 Disclaimer of Damages

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, DATELIGHT AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SUPPLIERS MAKE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND HEREBY DISCLAIM ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL DATELIGHT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, EVEN IF DATELIGHT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

6.2 Cap on Liability

YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY CLAIM AGAINST DATELIGHT SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR SUBSCRIPTION IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

6.3 Assumption of Risk

You assume all responsibility and risk for the use of Datelight and the internet generally. Datelight is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. Your use of Datelight is entirely at your own risk.

7. Disclaimer of Professional Advice

Datelight is provided for entertainment and informational purposes only. The content, advice, guidance, suggestions, recommendations, and materials provided through Datelight are not intended to constitute professional, legal, financial, psychological, medical, or therapeutic advice of any kind.
